At Slumbers, our service doesn’t stop at the till. Every bed and mattress is delivered with care by our in-house team - the same people who know our products inside out.
We’ll bring your new bed or mattress to the room of your choice, assemble it to your satisfaction, and take every piece of packaging away when we leave.
If you’d like us to remove your old bed, we can do that too for a small additional charge.
FAQs
How long will my order take to arrive?
If your chosen item is in stock, we’ll usually have it with you within 2–3 days.
Made-to-order pieces typically take 10–14 days.
Either way, we’ll be in touch within 24 hours of your online order to confirm your delivery date.
Do you deliver to my area?
Delivery is completely free within 30 miles of our Colchester showroom. This generally covers the majority of Essex and a lot of south Suffolk.
If you’re further afield, we can still deliver for a small additional fee on orders under £600.
Will you assemble my bed?
Yes. Our team will carry your bed or mattress to the room of your choice, assemble it, and remove all packaging. Bed frames are assembled if this has been arranged prior to delivery.
Can you take away my old bed?
We can remove your old bed or mattress for a small additional fee.
Please let us know when you place your order so we can arrange this in advance.
Who will deliver my order?
Always our own delivery staff – never a third-party courier. You’ll see familiar faces who know our products and share our care for detail.
What if I need to change or cancel my order?
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders cancelled through no fault of Slumbers may be subject to a 25% handling fee.
